LA\PAC have signed Matt Lambert to their directors roster for commercial and music video representation in France.Matt is a multi-disciplinary visual artist whose works spans films, live-performances, music videos, experimental documentary, creative direction and curation. He began his practice in the 2010s, creating transgressive short films, publishing projects and ongoing collaborations with idiosyncratic and visionary icons.His extensive record of music videos, deeply rooted in his own identity, includes acclaimed promos for Peaches, Bronski Beat, Anna Calvi and Mykki Blanco. In his commercials he has worked with leading brands including Diesel, CK, Adidas, Sephora, Rabanne and Joop! Central to his practice is storytelling and emotion, which he employs as a framework for investigating contemporary notions of intimacy. Lambert's latest book - his sixth - revisits a decade of work. Award-winning production studio Blinkink have announced that FreeAgent UK, led by Alexa Haywood, will be representing the studio’s music video directors across the UK.The move marks an exciting new chapter for the London-based studio, as they partner with Grammy-nominated agent Haywood. Blinkink are best known for their mixed-media music video portfolio, having worked with the likes of Coldplay, Iron Maiden, Elton John, Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Ashnikko, Dua Lipa and many more. Blinkink's most recent music video is a multimedia extravaganza for Thundercat x Mac Miller's She Knows Too Much, directed by Léa Esmaili (above). CANADA's Nico Mendez's video for Rosalia's Berghain and Somesuch director Dan Streit's promo for Rocky's Helicopter both win the Gold at show held at BFI Southbank on Wednesday.Gold and Silver honours were presented in nearly 40 categories at this year's 1.4 Awards, across a range of subjects and experience levels, including several celebrating excellence in Music Video.In the On The Cusp Of Greatness section of the awards, videos for A$AP Rocky's Punk Rocky, directed by Folkert Verdoon and Simon Becks and Povoa x Madge's Beat Bunny, directed by Tanner K Williams, won Gold, while the Relta-directed video for Kojey Radical's Don't Look Down, produced by The Corner Shop, and Coldplay x Choose Love, directed by Renee Maria Osubu through Somesuch, won Gold in the Music Video (Extended) category.
