Jules Wileman at Studio RM wins AICP Award for Love Wants film
Promonews - 10th June 2026
Studio RM colourist Jules Wileman has won a Best Colour Grading award at the recent AICP Post Awards in New York for Serena in Meguro, an editorial piece for magazine Love Wants, directed by Imogene Barron and produced by Kintzing.
At the awards on Friday, June 5th, Wileman's work won the Colour Grading: Under :60 prize for her grade on the film, which is an intimate portrait of Japanese model and actress Serena across moments in her home and garden, while the wider, busy landscape of Tokyo sits quietly in the background. Echoing Serena's commentary in the film, the grade carries a sense of warmth and fluidity — like a wash of watercolour tones — built around a sun-filled Tokyo afternoon.
Together with recognition for her work on the project, the AICP Award reflects Wileman's progress in gaining an international reputation for her work in colour from her base at Studio RM in London. Her approach - fast, instinct-led and fashion-literate - has seen her build an exciting portfolio across fashion, advertising and music, working with directors actively pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling.
Approaching two years grading at Studio RM, Jules hasn’t slowed down for a beat, highlights including Prada (directed by Steven Meisel), Tom Ford (directed by Gregoire Dyer at Division) Nothing Headphones (Directed by Iris Luz) alongside music promos for Travis Scott, Odeal and Jorja Smith.
