Manic Street Preachers, Mike O'Keefe and Joanna Wier commission Kelly + Victor feature director Kieran Evans for this beautiful and moving promo to Rewind The Film, the title track from the band's forthcoming album.
Shot in the Rhondda Valley over the course of one day and night, Evans casts his keen eye over a once proud mining community as they while away their twilight years. Taking his cue from the intense and haunting introspection of the soundtrack - featuring a lead vocal from Richard Hawley - Evans delivers a deeply respectful film with a dramatic, emotional punch.Â
