To Kill A King 'Rays' by Jack King
Sam Hill - 21st Aug 2013
Jack King delivers an enjoyable, darkly comic narrative video for fellow royality-named indie-rockers To Kill A King. Â
Bringing together the worlds of British small-town life, teenage vampire movies and big 80s hair, we're introduced to a rather odd secluded 'youngster' who (through not fault of his own) is forced to trip into the big wide world.
Fortunately, he adopts a romantic interest along the way, he's great at break-dancing, and may or may not be a terrifing monster.
Jack King:
We shot over 3 nights on a tight budget, we had 10 days to prep, shoot and edit - so we shot the majority in my beloved Shipley not far from my house in some of its finer establishments.
A good idea for getting things cheap at no notice, not a good idea if you plan on going back...
