Neck Deep 'Growing Pains' by LOVE Vis-Art
David Knight - 17th Jan 2014
LOVE Vis-Art - aka Jamie Michael Korn – has created an affectionate, nostalgic trip to the late Eighties/early Nineties for Neck Deep's Growing Pains.
It's a story of love, friendship and roller discos... inspired by The Breakfast Club, Saved By The Bell - and Brookside.Â
LOVE Viz-Art:
"To me, young love, friendship and the idea of 'the underdog' are the three basic elements of Pop Punk. Being born in '88 I have a huge affinity with 80's and 90's culture, so when the guys approached me looking for a '80s/90's themed video, I jumped at the chance to put something out that flirted with these ideas.
'Growing Pains' is a coming of age anthem big enough for a teen movie, so we set out to create our own version of The Breakfast Club, fused with Saved by the Bell with a hint of Brookside to bring it back home."
