Ian Pons Jewell's hugely entertaining promo for Brazilian trio Pearls Nagras' brutal genre-busting Make It Last sees an imaginative use of lo-fi VHS-style treatments, and some cool choreography supplied by Dejaneth Idalice Dos Santos, as the feisty trio's over-recording on a precious tape is discovered...

"I was approached by David Alexander who is [Pearls Negras'] producer, to make a video for them. We had about £1000, so Neirin Jones, our great DP suggested going down the route of VHS.

"This sparked my idea for basing it around the format itself and doing a slightly over the top telenovela style intro and outro, with Moran Beringer's VFX skills mashing up the whole central music video section!"
