Ryan Goodman, now signed to COMPULSORY, follows up his video for Laurel's Shells with another good-looking video of proper old school texture with this video for the catchy, slightly knowing MOR pop of Flyte's Light Me Up.

Shot on 16mm, Ryan and his DoP James Blann capture the band members performing separately and together against coloured screens, placed in different spots of London adorned, if that's the right word, with some classic post-war London architecture. And no doubt the locals didn't bat an eyelid...

RYAN GOODMAN:

"The concept behind the Light Me Up promo came mainly from the travelogue films of Harold Baim. Baim's films captured a 'Britain that has gone forever', and we wanted to recapture a little piece of that. There are definitely more contemporary influences within it, but it was the charm and beauty of his work that inspired.

"Working again shooting film, myself and DP James Blann wanted to continue the feel of Flyte's previous videos and add our own aesthetic. Set amongst the Brutalist architecture of London it was the perfect backdrop for the performance to unfold."
