Alison Mosshart walks down the barrel of a Big Wind in the video for I Feel Love (Every Million Miles) directed by Ian & Cooper, marking the return of The Dead Weather, Mosshart's project with Jack White.

Just when she's making some progress - and the visuals change from black and white to colour – she's thrown back to where she started, and back to monochrome. A not-too-subtle metaphor, but Mosshart is marvellous in this, from start to finish, the embodiment of the battered but unbowed rock 'n roll heroine. 

Certainly no need for Jack to appear - apart from the whirlwind blues of his guitar on the soundtrack, of course.
