Sometimes, the greatest battle happens within oneself - an idea that Ollie Wolf has reached in and externalised in his new video for Nao.

In the beautifully shot set-piece we follow Ashley Walters (star of Channel 4's Top Boy, and former member of So Solid Crew) as he comes to terms with himself in a very physical way. His insecurites manifest in a physical form that only he can see, and as such he's the only person who can be hurt by them.

The jarring, angular composition of the location makes for some still, yet striking moments of composition cut against the frenetic handheld energy of Walters' internal/external struggle.

His eventual escape from the house is an escape from the self – but he can't help but look back as he's leaving. Fighting that doubt is an ongoing battle.

In this video I want to bring to life and explore the duality that exists within us all. There is only ever one you, but in moments of self-doubt it can feel as if you are fighting against yourself. And that idea of fighting against yourself is what I want to explore with this video.
