Mimi Cave has delivered this music video for hip-hop artist Danny Brown's track When It Rain and its all about high energy movement caught on glitched out handicams - all wrapped up with a heavy, DIY feel.Â
The video gets at the heart of the track, with an intensity in its choppy editing and layering of found footage channeling heaps of attitude with busted-up VHS clips of various hip hop dance circles. Mimi Cave goes beyond embracing the videotape glitches and basically goes to town with the trippy artifacts and unnatural colour combos...
