Combining some meticulous framing with precision editing, we're told the fluid tale of a couple apart and the hesitations, misunderstandings and similarities of their day-to-day lives are played out side by side. They try to get on with their lives, but keep stopping to consider the other, without realising how close they are to reconnecting. Their actions mirroring and even passing between sides of the frame. 

It's bittersweet to see both parties go through the same emotional ruminations at the same time. A heartbreaking evolution of the 'Expectations Vs Reality' scene in the film '(500) Days of Summer', delivering the same sort of emotional punch.
