Sean Paul and Chi Ching Ching create a new dance move and watch as it spreads around Jamaica in this fun documentary-style clip by Jack Newman.

The whole video centres around the dance move Crick Neck - from Sean and Ching's initial conception of the move to a club night climax. The mixed media doc style of the clip gives the whole thing an energy and a spontaneity that's hard to fake - a cool slice of summer to see you through September.

"So many dancehall tracks in Jamaica have unique dance moves that everyone knows and dances to. The concept behind the video for Crick Neck was to document the creation of a move that was created by Sean and Ching and see it spread around the Island. We travelled to Kingston, Jamaica as a small documentary style crew and as you see at the beginning of the video Sean and Ching discuss what ‘Crick Neck’ actually means - You see a beautiful girl walk past you and you cant help but look at her, you Crick your neck to look at her – hence the creation of the Crick Neck move.

"Sean and Ching worked with Sean’s long-term collaborator & legendary chorographer Tanisha Scott to come up with the move and dancer Nerita McFarlane helped the move spread around the island amongst the local Islanders. The video climaxes at Ching’s club night in the surrounding jungle mountains around Kingston called ‘Hanging Mondays’ where the whole crowd get into the track and dance the night away until the early hours.

"Making the video was a great experience and I really think we got the opportunity to document the real side of Jamaica and Kingston that tourists don’t get to see. Sean and Ching were great to work with and we all had a lot of fun."
