Writer and director Edward John Drake has delivered this entertaining sci-fi clip for Tommy Trash and Taisun's IOUE, involving a virus-like app that turns people into drone-like beings who are out to convert others and trigger societal collapse
Its quite the doomsday scenario, starting with a young lady swallowing her phone and immediately turning into a cyborg with neon-pink light shining out from her eyes and mouth. She clearly means business, running swiftly along to find her victims - including city workers in suits, street dancers and drunken lad - which she seduces but doesn't manage to convert, funnily enough.
Edward John Drake explains, "iOUE is a cheeky play on how our technology addiction is taking over our sense of identity, and a friendly reminder that we're only a singularity away from the end of the world. "
