Chris Ranson brings us a vibrant living portrait of the city of New Orleans in this Director's Cut version of his video for Nevada's remake of Mark Morrison's Return Of The Mack, which 'pays homage to the 20th anniversary of the original song'.

Letting a series of candid snapshots tell their own story of the city, Ranson and DoP Stefan Yap have managed to weave a rich tapestry of New Orleans culture, specifically based around Bounce music, but spanning much further than that.

Showing residents of all ages, the video becomes part-documentary and part-visual poem, and an authentic tribute to the life and soul of the city itself.

"For me it was wanting to make something genuine about a City that I’ve long admired and been fascinated with. The popular rise of Bounce music and the culture surrounding that gave me a great opportunity to create a video that felt real to the people of New Orleans and show what an incredible City it is.
