Niall O'Brien's nightmarish visuals bring a wealth of darkness to Circa Waves' Wake Up.

A parade of characters lurking in the shadows, surrounded by religious iconography, liquor that spills like blood and a man with a gun silently watching. The erratic visuals here feel very much like a deeply uneasy dream that jumps between various scenarios with a sinister edge that you can't quite name.

All the characters are seemingly occupying different rooms in the same house, perhaps even the house of the subconscious - including the band, performing with tremendous power and menace in its basement. A stylishly dark piece of work with a matured sense of dread that's difficult to pin down.
