Seattle-based solo artist Mike Hadreas aka Perfume Genius has impressed us before with his experimental approach towards his performative flamboyance and Die 4 You is no different.

The intimate song has been paired with this beautiful dance video directed by Floria Sigismondi featuring a gnarled, contorted scultpure by Rosa Verloop. The dancer and singer professes his deep, indestructible love while hovering in a gravity defying movement, with a very slowed down Cabaret-style of dance in sequined fashion and dramatic makeup. 

It's an a remarkably minimal dance executed beautifully alongside other elements such as intermittent light, fluid camera movement, smoke and suspended chairs in space to heighten the sense of the artist's vulnerability and surrender.
