The neon-noir drama feels like if Nicolas Winging Refn were to make a movie in a London working men's' club. The full cast of characters is here: the thugs, the bartender, the femme fatale, the unlucky guy caught in the middle of it all. Of course, there's a big bag of cash that changes hands a few times too many and a double-cross or two, but this is Ducasse playing to the genre tropes nicely.
