Reverend And The Makers 'Too Tough To Die' by Shaun James Grant
Luke Bather - 13th June 2017
Shaun James Grant presents a lo-fi documentary for Reverend & The Makers - shot in Thailand.
The clip, shot by Grant on his trusty VHS camera, documents the two week period the band were recording in Thailand, chronicling their time in the studio and mixing in an assortment of other footage from the trip too. From monkeys to motorbikes, the band manage to see a lot in their downtime and Grant is there to capture it all.
SHAUN JAMES GRANT:
"Jon McClure [from the band] and I have been mates for quite some time. So when he asked me to come out to Thailand where they were recording their latest album and shoot some stuff, I didn't hesitate. This video is in short a collection of snippets from a long form weird and wonderful film that will go out later this year.
"Over the two weeks, armed with just my VHS camera I shot seven music videos and tons of other little film pieces. It was a different experience to what I'm used to – basically just hanging around with my mates and shooting off the cuff. But it was good fun!"
