The second half of The Architect, Thomas James' two-part sequence of videos for Paloma Faith, continues the story where it left off at the end of Crybaby: one boy cannot stand the oppressive regime of an institution that is 'creating' the future leaders of a cruel totalitarian state. He flees and the supportive Paloma races after him.

That sets off a chain of events explored in Guilty, where the cruel rulers of the Darwinian school that punishes any weakness or sensitivity in its students are faced with a revolt, and their demise.

But if that is predictable, what happens after that is not. In a way, James ramps up the cruelty further, as the true Architect is revealed. But he also manages to maintain the sense of a pop video even as the narrative gets ever darker.
