Shot on a rig comprised of five iPhones (portrait mode) to make one fractured yet complete image, Jake Mavity's video for singer-songwriter Scott Quinn tells the story of a young woman battling both a break-up and her own deteriorating mental health.

JAKE MAVITY:

"For Scott Quinn's Run we wanted to create a story that explores memory, and how these memories and emotions affect how we view the world around us.

"We built a custom rig that allowed us to create a frame comprised of 5 separate portrait images. This compartmentalises the characters in the wider frame, splitting and dividing the image.

"We shot on phones as they seemed to provide a good metaphor for the broader concept; superficially the same on the outside but actually each one recording and responding to the world that they are filming in their own idiosyncratic way - just like we as humans do too."
