In Tom Ringsby's video for London-based MEI, the singer-songwriter's alter-ego HurryGirl runs through London, her bursts of speed captured on grainy Super 8mm, and charmingly looped to the track.

Finally, she ends up at this year's Notting Hill Carnival, having a blast with friends - this section captured in 35mm stills, an appealing compliment to Super 8mm footage. And the combination of the content and aesthetic makes for a very appealing first video for this new artist.
