Femke Huurdeman marries a lo-fi fashion film aesthetic to the slowcore vibe of LA band Zeeland for this visual showcase, Dazed By The Desert.

We follow one serious fashionista on a trail of stylish nihilism, in which she finds numerous imaginative ways of killing the same guy, in the motels and dunes around LA, again and again.

It's a supercool, glamourous, dreamy and nostalgic Americana with a slightly sinister edge - styled by Nayeli de Alba, and shot entirely in Super 8mm by Andrea Calvetti, with a Chandleresque voiceover (written by Huurdeman) by Amanda Nell Goldsmith.
