In Cody Lee Brown's video for Al Church, the aforementioned Al doesn't make it to the final verse of his own song, when he mistakes the look in the eye of a girl in a local karaoke bar for genuine affection.
It's a fun, blood-spattered meta-narrative experiment where the star of the video suffers an untimely fate - and his killer gets a much better reception performing the song than he did.
