Joseph Delaney has previously shone a light upon the underground fetish club scene in his films for subversive mag SORT and Techno Goth - both featuring the extreme dance noise-core of Naked. Now he's back with a third film, exploring the boundaries of sexual expression in a succession of extraordinary scenarios.
Naked's pounding noisecore proides the soundtrack for a story that drops us into the hedonistic underbelly of a future world, where the oppressed underdogs are allowed a space to become their most freakish selves.
Drome includes cameos from artists featured in the new issue of SORT, including New York-based industrial artist (and Dior/Helmut Lang/HBA model) No Bra, London-based noise duo Naked and Brooke Candy. Plus an original sound score by Naked. And this is for mature audiences only.
