Liam Gallagher 'Shockwave' by Francois Rousselet
David Knight - 21st June 2019
The second collaboration between Francois Rousselet and Liam Gallagher takes the bluesy Stones-like feel of Shockwave to present a version of the Sixties that fits our times - and enables Liam's stalking, rogue preacher-like presence.
Liam never stops walking in this one - his familiar laddish roll taking him relentlessly forward - through an Americana of poverty, protest, ferment and fire.
Rousellet delivers this with his characteristic panache. And there's a great old-school documentary film look, created by Simon Chaudoir.
