Things get avant garde and disturbing in Samuel Taylor's video for The Murder Capital's More Is Less.
Focusing on a commodity that is used, enjoyed and exploited by the characters, the visuals are vague yet all-encompassing, uncomplicated yet confusing. The patchwork of dirty black and white vignettes are as abstract as they are beautiful, and the project invites viewers to draw their own meanings and metaphors.Â
DoP Arthur Loveday creates stunning compositions utilising the derelict industrial location and abundant natural light, and the result is grainy, raw and wonderful.
