The Big Moon 'Take A Piece' by Emilie Norenberg
Rob Ulitski - 3rd Dec 2019
Emilie Norenberg gives indie four-piece The Big Moon a fabulous Nineties music video makeover in her video for Take A Piece.
Drawing from a style last seen in vids for the likes of East 17 and B*Witched, Norenberg offers a rose-tinted tribute that celebrates the hazy lighting, fisheye lenses and questionable fashion taste that the 90s were so famous for, with the London band as her enthusiastic accomplices.Â
This slightly ironic love letter to a bygone era honours both the look and feel of the decade -Â its technically spot-on with similarly well-matched performances. And utterly absurd to watch for anyone who lived through it the first time around.Â
