Collard teams up with regular creative collaborators SOB (Joseph Shaw and Eseosa Ohen) for the otherworldly Favour. 

Exploring dreamscapes and a reality that transcends our own, the hypnotic visual is formed of several conceptual setups focused around the artist, his love interest and an ever-evolving set of locations and backdrops. 

DoP Jack Wilkinson utilises spotlights and frenzied strobes to create the dreamy aesthetic, which tiptoes its way towards more of a nightmare at several points in the video, but is always reigned in by its strangely charming and comforting style.

It's another darkly mysterious and bittersweet affair in the tradition of SOB's previous videos for Collard, including Warrior Cry and Greyhound.

SOB:

We wanted to put an emphasis on how beautiful moments can often turn sour.

"We wanted to build a romantic dreamscape that's part fantasy, part rose-tinted nostalgia. But as the video progresses things take a darker turn and our rose tints fade into an isolating darkness.

"By contrasting the upbeat sound with quite a dark aesthetic we wanted to put an emphasis on how beautiful moments can often turn sour, and how the best of relationships can suddenly fade into something toxic.”
