Klemensas Kovlovas directs an unusual tale of revenge in the video for Digging for Kanky's The Ugly, from the band's debut EP, Alice.

Splicing together vignettes of a young woman getting buried and flashbacks of a tortured relationship, the monochromatic visual is stylistically reminiscent of film noir and gritty revenge cinema. 

With two excellent twists elevating this above similar creative concepts, the visual is very much open to interpretation and analysis. But one thing's for sure - it's a bold and brilliant match for the otherwordly track.
