A solitary traveller dreams of driving the darkness out of her dystopian world, in Timon Birkhofer & Jørg M. Kundinger's promo for Kim Planert.
The enigmatic video uses movement to drive the narrative forward, as the protagonist transcends her real-life situation through dance and a series of abstract interactions with nameless characters.
DoP Evan Schneider utilises slow motion and static camera angles to bring out the drama of the setups, allowing the performances to unfold organically and viewers the chance to absorb the vivid imagery on screen.
