Martin J Pickering directs a haunting promo for veteran dream-pop duo Morcheeba.

Reminiscing about singer Skye Edwards' first experience of free diving, the concept intertwines elements of surrealism and theatricality, presenting an otherworldly environment that seems to live and breathe on its own. 

The use of luminscent fabrics and clever projection mapping creates a magical version of the ocean, whilst several other materials are recycled to represent different elements in the vibrant, on-screen world. 

DoP Thomas English uses off-kilter angles and smooth transitions to represent the ocean waves, smooth yet discernible, whilst the art direction adds an extra layer of polish to the concept.

Skye was also heavily involved in the look of the video, having made her own dress from scratch, finding the boat, building the mast and choreographing a dance to encompass each of these things.
