Marius Gonzalez directs a frenetic assault on the senses, in his promo for masked French rapper Kekra. 

In the video for Dans L'dos, we follow an armed Special Ops squad that enters an underground building, leading to a confrontation with Kekra in his base, and a brilliantly-staged brutal hand-to-hand fight.

Taking inspiration from the fight scene in Park Chan-wook's Oldboy - and other references such as Son Of Man and The Raid - the video is tense and action-packed from the first frame to the last, with Romain Malavoy's cinematography adding a cinematic polish to the concept. 

Wild, unabashed and endlessly watchable, this a compelling video from an exciting young French director, with plenty of his saturated graphic design work peppered throughout.
