The Vaccines lead singer Justin Young goes on a hallucinatory trip, in Stella Belle Hex's extravaganza for Headphones Baby. 

Opening with an abstract live action scene - where young consumes the edge of a postcard stamp, LSD style - the video soon transforms into a neon euphoria, full of trippy visual candy. 

Hex's playfully surreal style bleeds into every pixel of the video, culminating in a wild, immersive experience for the viewer.

I'm a big fan of fantasy, sci-fi and the otherworldly.

"Having worked in visuals for live music events and theatre, and with lockdown happening, I wanted to find an approach that would be able to create an immersive experience for the viewer.

"I particularly enjoy storytelling. I'm a big fan of fantasy, sci-fi and the otherworldly. So it made sense to create my own worlds with live action mixed with VFX and illustrations, compiling layers of another realm through animation.

"It’s an abstract narrative, very Inception, and the ambiguous twist at the end is to prompt the question: What is escapism, how does one find it? Mentally or physically? Can it be both."
