Fantasy and reality collide in Louise De Nexon's film Somewhere In The Middle, featuring French experimental musician Ben Draghi. 

In the film, Draghi reflects on the ways in which he achieves self-exploration, as he is captured through a fantastical, ethereal lens. 

From lounging in bed in his underwear, to wearing demonic contact lenses and garish clothes in an empty theatre, projections of different characters appear as apparitions, before dissolving back into Draghi's imagination. 

The film is set up as a portrait with an aim to explore the different facets of the artist's identity, and De Nexon achieves this with absolute flair and craft.
