A knight in armour returns on horseback to his manor, discovering he is mortally wounded. And then he embarks upon a remarkable ritual in Joe Wheatley's mesmerising new video for TV Priest.

Shot by eminent DoP Kristof Brandl, and featuring a stunning peformance by TV Priest frontman Charlie Drinkwater as the wounded knight, Wheatley has drawn on the sense of weariness and smouldering fury in the song One Easy Thing with an unlikely scenario that radiates cinematic gravitas.

There is great filmmaking craft at work here. Brandl bringing his unmistakeable skill to bear on this gloomy, pain-ridden world, shooting on black and white film to create amazing images. Wheatley and Drinkwater, working for the third time following the TV Priest videos for Decoration and Press Gang, give the dying knight's last moments transcendent meaning.
