Jodeb explores identity and freedom in the wonderful promo for Diplo & TSHA's Let You Go, featuring Kareen Lomax. 

Blending the structure of a short film and music video, the concept follows a group of four friends who rebel against the suffocating and forbidding rules of their hometown, stealing a vehicle and escape, and make their way via various means, and evading capture and danger, on the adventure of a lifetime.

Filmed in Guatemala - with marvellous cinematography by Alexandre Nour - the aesthetic is dreamlike but gritty, representing the dichotomy of chasing freedom but the constraints of reality. Jodeb does a perfect job of balancing these opposing ideas, in a fast-paced video teeming with extraordinary imagery, and celebrating the closeness of the quartet, bonded by their rejection of societal norms. 

They are looking for a new safe haven - and by the end they may have found one.
