THE REST direct an eerie, metaphorical tale for Bodmin Moor - SBTRKT’s first single in six years.

With the unmistakeable atmosphere of an English horror movie, two young men enter the modern home of an assured older woman, unravelling the artwork that they have brought with them to show her. The pair are then split up. Never a good sign...

THE REST - Alex Motlhabane and Lewis Levi - ratchet up the tension throughout this enigmatic narrative, alluding to the legendary tale of the Creature of Bodmin Moor and a cult that feverishly worships it.

SBTRKT came up with the concept, with Nila - who created the artwork that is central to the narrative. "There's a whole lot of story layers in the video which i’ll leave you to figure out!" SBTRKT writes under the video on YouTube. "Check the trailer which is the prequel to it! 

"The main plot for the video represents my journey through the music business - and my prior records being owned in perpetuity by someone else. A big part of my reason for taking so long to return is navigating the industry and figuring out how to own my art."
