Kuziw directs a precise change in perspective for Joel Baker - all from a single camera angle.

Baker sets up at an intriguing open-air location to perform his song Baby Teeth, and to wrestle with lyrics about grief, joy, friendship and family. The action is captured from above, and that never changes - but it is edited to reveal the performance at different times of day, the scene becoming lighter and darker and back again.

Kusiw maintains a continuity in Baker's performance with clever match cuts, so he seamlessly rides through the lighting changes. And the experimental nature of the film is emphasised by a 'poem' section, where the lyrics are overlaid the image.

Shot on location in Cappadocia, Turkey, this is the first of a series of thoughtful visuals presented by Kuziw, Oddigy Studio and the team behind Joel Baker, in anticipation of the singer's upcoming album.
