Nathan Miller directs an effervescent promo for Ezra Collective, featuring Sampa The Great.Â
Shot between London and Lusaka - the capital of Zambia - the video for Life Goes On explores parallels between daily life and culture in the two cities, framed by two dancers - Lauryn Bryan in London, and Jonathan Tupaki in Lusaka - who energetically tear up the streets with breathtaking dance moves.
Portrait-style shots and cutaways of the hustle and bustle of the cities - including markets, restaurants, kids playing sports, traffic jams - create a buzzing, palpable energy which underscores the bouncy track.Â
It's wonderfully celebratory and upbeat, a perfect counterpoint to the London jazz outfit Ezra Collective's euphoric tune. And a terrific music video debut by Miller, recently signed to Biscuit Filmworks.Â
