A very energetic house rap fusion created a collaboration between Sheffield producer TeeDee and Manchester rapper Bugzy Malone.

The song samples ‘Wile Out’ by DJ Zinc and Ms. Dynamite, the vocals are used as the chorus and the original beat has been used for inspiration. However, the production by TeeDee gives a brand new feel as it is much harder and harsher in comparison and certainly a bass house song of 2022, compared to the smoother bassline song created by DJ Zinc.

Bugzy well known as a grime artist has dabbled in other genres, the best examples being featuring on ‘Who Am I?’ and releasing ‘Through The Night’. Once again Bugzy has shown his versatility and artistic ability by crossing over into the house genre (again Energy released a few months prior) with his rapping to bring a fusion between the two genres not heard too often.

The song’s creation came about through social media with TeeDee creating a beat and starting an @-ing of Bugzy campaign on his Instagram and TikTok after selecting him as the target for collaboration, with someone over WhatsApp (as seen in a TikTok video). Bugzy responded the same day with a duet of TeeDee’s TikTok and a comment on Instagram which certainly suggested he would likely jump on the track as he appeared to like the beat TeeDee produced.

TeeDee then posted a TikTok video only 11 days later with Bugzy Malone teasing the song. Bugzy had come to Sheffield to meet TeeDee, probably for the two to tease the song’s creation on social media but regardless the two hung out and hopefully more songs can be made between the pair in the future.
