Pepi Ginsberg directs an enchanting promo for John Cale, for new track Noise Of You.
Taken from his first album in a decade, the video features snapshots of Cale's life - including photos, videos and notes - layered over documentary footage of his former home of New York City.Â
Blending the past and present with a gentle touch, the video is a conversation between two periods of time, and feels both poignant and celebratory.Â
The multiformat aesthetic is refreshing yet nostalgic, and the inclusion of spoken word elevates this feeling. A powerful watch, which is utterly absorbing from start to end.Â
