Martin J Pickering directs a gentle, dreamlike promo for Scottish folk artists Scott William Urquhart and Constant Follower, that evokes the power of imagination in childhood.

Pickering's video for Watching The Black River Run - from folk guitarist Urquhart and Stirling-based group Constant Follower's collaboration on new album Even Days Dissolve - tells of a little girl’s adventure, when the paper boat she makes disappears down a stream and into a river, with her favourite doll sitting inside.

Then the little girls becomes the passenger in the boat, travelling through stunning landscapes and connecting with the natural world. With a sense of nostalgia for a simpler time, and a heavy dose of magical fantasy, it's an uplifting work that perfectly encapsulates the music.
