Matilda Harding-Kemp directs a riveting performance promo for Laurel Smith's Vampire Romance.

Featuring an elevated, horror-tinged concept, the video - following up Harding-Kemp's impressive video for Everybody Bleeds - sees the artist perform in the middle of a pentagram in several vivid vignettes.

"For Vampire Romance the idea was to create a haunting, atmospheric scene that played with contrasts in colour, light and shadow," says Harding-Kemp. "Laurel’s performance drives this video in the centre of a giant pentagram." 

Straightforward and unfussy in concept, the video gives Laurel Smith room to bring her own unique vibe to the performance, which toes the line between mysterious and ethereal, whilst retaining a contemporary, alt-pop sensibility.
