Sam Wiehl directs a striking animated promo for UK experimental electronic artist Matthew Barnes, AKA Forest Swords.

The video for The Low expands on the visual world that accompanies the record, merging otherworldly textures and cryptic conceptual vignettes to create a distinctively uncanny vibe. 

"Sam designed and generated some stunning imagery using Unreal Engine and then tasked me with trying to piece it all together into a cohesive whole," explains Jack Whiteley, who edited the video.

"We imagined a future world where advanced AI beings had unearthed and excavated artefacts from the Human Age, which they then created extraordinary artwork from and put on display. Almost certainly an exact prediction of the future!"
