Charlotte Plank and her crew bring the rave with them on a night out in Ben Cole's video for the BRIT-nominee and UK breakthrough dance artist.

The frenetic video for Rage - one of Charlotte Plank’s most-anticipated records prior to its release - matches the song’s fast-paced high energy.

“When writing Rage, I was heavily inspired by sounds from Pendulum and The Prodigy," Charlotte Plank has explained. "I wanted the hypnotic, almost nursery rhyme-like vocal melody to captivate and hit the itch inside your brain. In that moment when you’re coming up in a rave and everything’s melting away around you, a certain song or sound almost steadies you, pulling you back in, injecting you with energy, riling you up to go for the rest of the night.”

Director Ben Cole shot in some eclectic locations across London, capturing an authentic sense of the city’s frenetic nightlife - and it features an unexpected narrative twist at its finale.

“This film is a little nod to the endless overlapping stories found on a London night out, and that communal hunt for the rave," says Cole. "There is spontaneity to it all. Thank you to my local kebab shop for letting 50 kids rave to drum and base!”
