A couple take the leap into the unknown, in Henry Oliver and Justin Du Pre's mesmerizing monochromatic visual for the first single from Elbow's new album.

In a nocturnal city, two fugitives unite to run through the deserted streets, where the directors establish a heightened version of reality, before the true level of dreamstate is revealed in a beautifully orchestrated climax.

Oliver and Du Pre have collaborated before, particularly on the videos of lovable grime rogue Big Heath, with Du Pre normally on VFX duties. This directing collaboration, which reflects the drama and ambition of the track, is very impressive indeed - a big leap forward.
