Georgie Cowan-Turner helps usher in Pale Waves' new era with this breathtaking promo for Perfume.
The video for the shoegazey Perfurme combines slow, deliberate camera movements with a surreal naturalism evocative of Tim Walker's 90's photography, creating a strangely beautiful aesthetic.
Ethereal, dreamy and confident, it's a perfect fit for the band and the direction of this project.
"I wanted to create something beautifully strange and utterly romantic," says Cowan-Turner. "With our cinematographer Barbara Van Schaik, we experimented with these amazing Petzval lenses and glowy soft filters to give the world of the video an unreal quality and Heather as this beautiful 90’s vampire within this.
"Above all, we wanted Perfume to feel like a Pale Waves video whilst also offering something distinctively new."
