Maxim Kelly directs an intriguing promo for NYC-based producer Prefuse 73, utilizing archive film footage augmented with AI-generated imagery to disconcerting effect.

The video for Complete Rejection is set against a backdrop of a 1970's New York crime wave, presented as a fictional public service announcement.  

To make the imaginative promo, Maxim found vintage social guidance films, educational videos, and propaganda, and then used AI to elevate the uncanny vibe of the visuals. 

It's a trippy, inspired use of the technology, and the use of a PSA-style structure gives it an anachronistic, almost otherworldly feel. Spectactularly odd work which will leave viewers thinking about it a long time after watching.
