Shot over a period of three weeks in India, taking in eight cities - Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Shillong, Kolkata and Old Delhi - and all 'shot' by Ed Sheeran himself (on Snorricam) comes the video for Sapphire.

"We decided to shoot a music video for Sapphire whilst on tour [in India]," explains Dan Curwin, Ed Sheeran's longtime video commissioner, who also produced this video. "Every day was a new challenge and we covered an enormous amount of locations.

"From a Bollywood backlot to the rooftop of the old spice market in Delhi, to riding a scooter, a beach, going on a river boat, a dive bar, a chai shop, riding in a rickshaw, football and cricket, and more. Everything was a last minute hustle and total chaos. What could [possibly] go wrong? :)"
