An uproarious sexy comedy-drama for Mexican diva DANNA from Olivia de Camps, in which the survival of her home village depends upon her falling in love.
Set on a drought-stricken ranch where it hasn’t rained in 777 days, the music video follows Danna, blamed by villagers for the dry spell left in wake of her last heartbreak. Desperate to feel something again, she tries writing love stories with different men in hopes of creating the perfect heartbreak.
What unfolds is a mix of absurd rituals, failed romances, and theatrical attempts to cry - until one small, unexpected moment finally breaks through.
Olivia de Camps, a Dominican-American filmmaker known for her bold visuals and emotionally rich storytelling, blends stylised narrative imagery and choreography - all shot on film with a beautiful aesthetic.
